Tiny & New | Apex Newborn Photographer

This little guy, after giving Mom a bunch of trouble during pregnancy, decided to come a whole month early and surprise everyone.  Despite being early, he was very healthy and everyone got to go home together.  Mr. T did great for his session even though I didn't get a hold of him till 12 days old.  He was still plenty sleepy!  And still teeny tiny.  :)  Please excuse all the pictures - I couldn't decide which ones to post!  He is, after all, my new nephew.  :)

Oh, what a sweet baby girl!  This was the first of many little babies to be born {2 more have been born since her birth!} within my circle of girlfriends at church.  The morning of this shoot we had wonderful sunshine, a perfect studio-like space and one adorable baby girl.  I hope you enjoy your images, P Family!  We are so very excited Miss L is here!

Pullen Park Fun | Raleigh Family Photographer

This adorable family contacted me for a portrait session to update some family pictures but also celebrate Mr. S's 1st birthday!  After weighing all the options, the family choose Pullen Park in Raleigh as our destination.  I was so excited since I had never been there before!  What an adorable little park.  :)  We had great weather that evening despite the ominous looming clouds all day - it was almost too bright!  We got some great shots and then had great fun watching S smash his birthday cake.  Isn't the Mickey theme too cute!?  Had a wonderful evening with you, A Family!

 

Busy Spring | Apex Family Photographer

Oh, so many changes coming for this family of 3!  Little brother's arrival is just around the corner and they have a little girl turning 3 in just a few days!  A bit of whirlwind session since we had to reschedule after the freak snow in NC {where did that come from???} but we managed to get birthday pictures, maternity pictures and a few updated family pictures.  Whew!  Enjoy C Family!

Maternity Leave | Apex Photographer

Over here in the Camp household, we are gearing up for Baby #2 who is scheduled to arrive sometime mid-May!  Due to this impending arrival, Emily Camp Photography will be on maternity leave from May 1st till August 15th.  If you would like to book a portrait session please email me ASAP to get on the calendar before May 1st!  If you are expecting and are looking for newborn pictures, please contact me and I will handle these sessions on a case by case basis.

Sisters | Apex Children Photographer

This was one of those sessions that took about 5 reschedules to get done!  Between winter colds and crummy weather we just couldn't find a day that worked!  But we finally scheduled for a BEAUTIFUL Saturday afternoon and just had a great session.  These girls were great.  A little shy at first {little one still stayed pretty serious the whole time!} but they soon opened up and we got some sweet shots.  Enjoy O Family! 

Sweet Baby Sister | Raleigh Newborn Photographer

This sweet little family is growing!  I can't believe that just about 2 years ago I photographed big sister {as one of my very first newborn sessions}!  And now baby sister has arrived - perfect and sweet.  :)  I had a wonderful morning with the B Family and their new little bundle.  Everyone did great - including big sister!  It was definitely one of those sessions that you could have photographed all day long.  :)  Enjoy, B Family!  Can't wait to see you all again soon!

V-day Family Shoot | Raleigh Family Photographer

What a gorgeous January afternoon to take pictures!  We have really been enjoying mild winter temperatures here in North Carolina.  Perfect for picture taking!  And how cute is the W Family {as always!}?!  Love love the color scheme that they picked out and the fun accessories Mom brought along.  I love V-day for picture taking opportunities - so many fun things you can do! 

Ruffles, Bows and Pearls | Apex Child Photographer

I can't believe this little gal is already 6 months old!  Where has the time gone??  Feels like yesterday we were doing her newborn pictures.  Thankfully, Miss N was much more cooperative for this photo session and we had so much fun!  Mom wanted to do some indoor pictures which is not my typical preference.  But knowing that January weather could be very iffy in North Carolina we decided that planning an indoor session would be best.  It turned out to be a beautiful weekend in NC but we still did our shoot as planned in my "mock" studio.  Mom had a vision and it turned out great!  Using the classic white walls and dark floors, we played Miss N up in all kinds of frilly bows, ruffles and even {real!} pearls!  We even got some adorable V-day pictures.  :)  I hope you enjoy, B Family!  I had a wonderful afternoon with you guys and look forward to seeing you soon!
