New Years Baby | Durham Newborn Photographer

This sweet baby girl made her grand entrance on January 1st!  What a fun birthday!  I was supposed to take her picture at 6 days old but because of complications we had to push off the session for another week.  Most babies at 13 days will not be so cooperative.  But this gal was as perfect as perfect could be!  I could have photographed her all day.  :)  And what a special photo session - all of her grandparents were there along with mom and dad.  Just a fun and relaxing afternoon celebrating the birth of Miss R.  Enjoy K Family!

New Toy | Apex Photographer

Thanks to all my AWESOME clients this past fall, I was able to save up and finally purchase a new lens that I have been dreaming of for quite some time.  I just got it in the mail last night and am looking forward to playing with it.  :)  Yay!

Oh, what a DREARY day we had for our photo shoot!  Unfortunately, we couldn't really reschedule because of travel plans and upcoming holidays.  So, we made the most of our rainy and dark morning.  :)  The S Family was only going to be all together for a few days around Christmas and Mom wanted to document that occasion.  Hope you had a wonderful holiday, S Family!  Enjoy!

I am so glad to have met this beautiful family!  They have only been North Carolinians for only a month and just happened to find my name on the web.  We decided on downtown Apex as our location and what a perfect spot it was!  Little did I know but little man LOVES trains!  Even being a bit shy we still got him excited about the caboose, and the engines and the railroad tracks.  It really was a fun afternoon!  Welcome to Apex, M Family!  Enjoy!

Christmas in Chapel Hill | Chapel Hill Family Photographer

I was so excited to see this little guy again!  Remember his sweet face from a few months ago?  Now he is 6 months {time flies!} and time for some Christmas pictures!  These guys are just adorable.  :)  This was the first time I met Dad and let me tell you what a big teddy bear he is when it comes to his little boy.  He was just so sweet and loving with him and was the only one that got that big grin on his face!  Love it!  Thanks for navigating the crazy roads of Chapel Hill, M Family!  I had a great evening!

It was high time for some updated pictures for this family as well as a Christmas photo!  So, off to Lake Pine we headed to capture mom and kids together.  Being 2 of the subjects are teenage boys, they were not so into the whole picture taking thing but we did it quick and painless!  Hope you enjoy S Family - you are beautiful!

Thanksgiving | Cary Family Photographer

This big extended family are friends with a dear photog friend, Heather.  She was asked to shoot their family portraits while the whole gang was in town for the Thanksgiving holiday.  Being as the group consisted of 19 {and look at all those boys!!!} she asked me to come along and assist.  What a great experience!  This family was fantastic and we had a great time shooting and learning together.  Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, R Family!  Great to meet you!
